The Michigan Education Foundation (MEF) is a nonprofit organization built for people passionate about quality public education in Michigan. We support the Michigan K-12 public school education foundations through networking, collaboration, and professional development.
Our members are both large and small education foundations, newly-formed and mature, from various parts of Michigan. The Michigan Education Foundation (MEF) mission is to be a catalyst for the creation and growth of public PreK-12 education foundations that serve traditional public school districts in the state of Michigan. We do this by hosting five meetings a year, allowing foundation representatives to gain professional development and collaborate with similar organizations. Each meeting focuses on a topic relevant to education foundations and includes time for Q&A and idea-sharing between attendees.
